CNC Machine Operator / CNC Machinist

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a well-established, systems manufacturer. located in Mt. Pleasant, SC This role is best suited for a skilled CNC professional who values precision, consistency, and working within a structured, production-driven shop environment.

This position plays a critical role in producing precision-machined components and is ideal for candidates with strong technical skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery to machine wood-based and related materials to exact specifications
Interpret technical drawings, shop prints, cut lists, and CNC programs to execute accurate production runs
Perform machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments
Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds to optimize quality and production efficiency
Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues to minimize downtime and scrap
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
Collaborate with production, engineering, and installation teams to meet schedules and quality standards
