Job description:

We are a busy specialty cake bakery in Downtown Charleston seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-friendly Bakery Counter Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment and takes pride in keeping operations clean, organized, and running smoothly.

The position combines dishwashing, kitchen support, and front-counter customer service responsibilities. Prior experience working in a bakery or commercial kitchen is highly preferred.

Schedule Options

Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, baking tools, trays, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish area, and front counter
Assist bakers with basic prep and restocking as needed
Support daily opening and closing cleaning tasks
Greet customers and assist with counter sales and order pickups
Package baked goods and maintain attractive product displays
Monitor inventory of cleaning and packaging supplies
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
