Packaging Associate

The Packaging Associate performs specialized product preparation, customization, and packaging activities within a warehouse or distribution environment. This position is responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards prior to shipment through processes such as folding, labeling, ticketing, barcoding, repackaging, and tag application.

Fold, sort, and prepare products according to work instructions and customer requirements.
Apply labels, tickets, UPC barcodes, price tags, and other identification materials accurately.
Repackage products into cartons, bundles, displays, or other packaging configurations as required.
Operate heat-sealing and packaging equipment to attach tags and prepare products for shipment.
Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper presentation before packaging and shipment.
Verify item counts, labels, and packaging requirements against work orders and production instructions.
Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting daily production goals.
Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and staging of products within the facility.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or material shortages to supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
